I’m quite amazed at how long it’s been since I last blogged. I’ve now downloaded an app onto my phone so hopefully it’ll be easier to keep everything updated.
I’ve practically been living in the loom shed for the last few months, and while it’s fantastic to be so busy weaving, it doesn’t leave much time for blog updates!
My tweeds have all been finished and they’ve received the Orb stamp which was very exciting. I cut pieces of one the other day for an order so I’m officially selling Harris Tweed.
As well as weaving my own tweeds, I’m also weaving for another weaver has been really interesting. Receiving a beam and instructions on what pattern is required has certainly cut down on the brain power needed to design my own!
I’ll post some pictures soon of the finished tweeds as they now look slightly different.
